What are words? Everyday we here a new word such as clinchpooper (someone who is a complete slob) or wisterpooper (a slap along side the head) so when you hear a word you haven't heard in a long while like Tinker its kinda funny. Reminds me of when I was young. Oh the words dad used to rattle off when you were a kid. Well the other day a friend used Tinker. He liked using Tinker so much, he now is on a mission to get Tinker used in our everyday vocabulary again. It reminds him so much of the good old days when gas was cheap and days were long. He said "I think I'm going to go home and Tinker in my garage." as a loud howl of laughter came out. As he amused himself I couldn't help but laugh at him. So I thought as soon as I get home I would look up tinker and see exactly what the definition was. Well by definition from YourDictionary.com Tinker (tin'kar) is a noun. 1. a usually itinerant person mends pots, pans, etc. 2. a gypsy 3. a person who can make all kinds of minor repairs; jack-of-all-trades. 5. a young mackerel intransitive verb 1. to work as a tinker 2. to make clumsy or tentative attempts to mend or repair something 3. to fuss or putter aimlessly or uselessly. What does this all mean? You got me. So Tim here you go. When I was young, I had some Tinker toys I used to play with or hows this I have the freedom to tinker around with this story. What ever that's all I have got to say about this. Go all you Tinkers.
